A weather-servant in my world of Karock, who's been -- you may be sensing a theme here -- snatched away into the post-apocalyptic world of Shatterverse. When she was only a baby, she was stolen by elves, as part of the latter's complicated economic arrangement with the godlike whatevers. Now she is immortal, until she simply runs out of energy and stops (her age is impossible to judge; she looks like she could be fifteen or eighteen or twenty-five), and is an unpaid celestial farmhand for the lazy gods of Karock. She, along with hundreds of other fey-taken, is a slave to the whims of the weather. (Don't ask her who those others are: it's not like they have the spare time to start a sleepover club.)
Bayami specialises in rain and the offshoots thereof. When it snows, she has to breathe cold onto every flake. When it hails, she must crush the powder into tiny hard spheres. When it pours, she must carry the fat droplets into the clouds and let them fall. She doesn't control the weather: she is compelled to serve it. In order to do her job, she is able to fly, and to manipulate water. As a side-effect of being fey-taken, she is also able to see through elves' illusions. When it comes to other manifestations of illusion, she's harder to fool than most, but it's certainly still possible.
