Even there, no-one returned his phone calls, unless it was to berate or contradict him. He was on the verge of giving up when he found Gabriel Gray, his Patient Zero, his much-needed stimulation.
Sadly, this particular Gabriel evolved into the slightly murderous Sabe, and after confronting him regarding this fact Chandra might have found himself holding an unplanned meeting between his head and the window of a cab if the Shatterverse hadn't whisked them thoughtfully away.
